Your photo session begins
long before the first picture
For me, a portrait doesn't begin with the camera, but with a conversation.
In a preliminary consultation, I'd like to learn about your vision, the types of images that appeal to you, and how you want to be portrayed. If possible, we'll meet in person before the shoot. During this meeting, we'll discuss style, clothing, location, lighting, and atmosphere – but most importantly, the concept behind your photos.
This exchange results in a customized concept. Not as a rigid script, but as the basis for a photo session that suits you.
On the day of the shoot, we'll take our time. You don't need any prior experience in front of the camera or know how to pose. I'll guide you through the shoot, give clear and simple instructions, and develop the images with you step by step.
During the session, we create various shots that we can review together repeatedly. This allows us to see immediately what works, adjust details, and further develop the overall concept.
I deliberately work without time pressure. Because expression cannot be forced. Often the most powerful portraits emerge precisely when camera, light and technology recede into the background for a moment, and genuine presence becomes visible.
After the shoot, the photographs are carefully selected and individually edited. My goal remains the same as during the shoot: to preserve your personality and the atmosphere of the image.
In the end, you don't simply receive pictures from a photo session.
You will receive portraits that were created together with you.
